Satellite Location Responsibilities
Satellite Location: The clinic or hospital that agrees to provide classroom space
Course Vendor: EchoGen Portal
Equipment Sponsor: The Prometheus Group
Satellite Locations Logistics:
- Satellite facilities should have easy access for regional travel
- The course will be live-streamed into the satellite facility with students and satellite faculty in attendance
- The facility needs adequate space for 5 treatment tables and seating in one room to accommodate up to 20 registrants. Separate lecture and lab tables are preferrable.
- The satellite location will receive one complimentary registration for a clinic staff member in exchange for use of their facility and clinic owned ultrasound equipment
- If qualified, a clinic staff may have the opportunity to serve as lab assistants for this and future courses. TAs would receive all course materials and CEU's in exchange for their assistance
- Satellite host is responsible to ensure the facility is operational prior to the course dates and facility as well as clean-up of class space at the conclusion of the course
- Satellite facility agrees to receive and verify any ultrasound equipment which will be shipped to a specified address and contact by The Prometheus Group and to be responsible for the safety of this equipment valued at $7000 per unit
- Satellite location agrees to re-pack all ultrasound equipment belonging to The Prometheus Group in the original shipping container and arrange for pre-paid UPS pick-up of the container within 48 hours of course completion
Satellite Tech Requirements:
- LCD projector with cables and power supply
- Projection screen, or blank wall to display the visual presentation
- Sufficient Wi-Fi bandwidth to support broadcasting on a Zoom or similar meeting platform from the class space.
- Perform an internet speed test to confirm connectivity in the teaching space
Satellite Location to Provide:
- Access to all the facilities Prometheus RUSI equipment to be used for the US labs and adequate table, stand or cart for the ultrasound equipment during labs.
- Additional ultrasound gel in the event that shipped supplies run out
- Linens: 2 pillows per table, sheets, washcloths and hand towels
- Gloves and chux or towel for under-pad during the transperineal lab
- Paper towels and trash receptacles with access to extra bags
- Pelvis model
Equipment Sponsor Responsibilities:
- The Prometheus Group will ship loaner RUSI systems as needed with the goal to provide one system for every four students for use during labs and provide pre-paid shipping label for the return of this equipment.
- Name tags, ultrasound gel, standoff pads, and probe covers for transperineal labs
- EchoGen Portal and The Prometheus Group will be responsible for all advertising and participant registration
- Remote tech support during the course to assist remote participants
Course Vendor Responsibilities:
- Instructor agrees to provide 19.5 hours of continuing education broadcast remotely from the host location
- Provide a digital copy of all course material to include pre-requisite reading, videos, course manual and CEU certificates to all participants
- Arrange for a qualified teaching assistant to be present for the entirety of the course
- TA approved travel expenses
