Self-Hosting Requirements


  • Equipment: Use your own or have access to rehabilitative ultrasound equipment with a curvilinear array. All locations need to maintain no greater than 4 students per ultrasound system
  • Experience: A minimum of six months experience with ultrasound imaging or be working with an approved Teaching Assistant
  • Location: Your own approved clinic or a clinic sponsoring a Learning Pod with a TA. Check out the current Pod options listed below
  •  Faculty: Echogen Portal maintains a limited list of potential TAs that may be able to host a small group at their location or possibly travel to you.

  • Schedule: Central Time Zone, Saturday April 6 - 9:00 am- 6:30 pm, Sunday April 7 - 9:00 am-4:30 pm

Self-Hosting Options

  • Or, have a minimum of six months of ultrasound experience to self-host without a TA
  • All self-hosted groups and satellites will have virtual access to the course instructor for questions and discussions during lectures and labs.
  • One of our faculty members will be online throughout the course to serve as a virtual TA and provide assistance during labs. 
  • We have TAs that can possibly host small Learning Pods in locations throughout the US and Canada to include:
  • Los Gatos, CA
  • Manhattan, KS
  • Chicago, IL
  • Vancouver, BC
