Do I need experience with ultrasound imaging to take this course?

No, This introductory course is designed for clinicians who are considering incorporating RUSI into their practice and want to learn more as well as those who are just getting started with their own RUSI equipment

Are there any training requirements or certifications to perform rehabilitative ultrasound imaging?

There are no training requirements for physical therapists to perform RUSI in the US, and the majority of Canada. EchoGen Seminars has chosen to follow the guidelines for training outlined by Whittaker et al., 2019.

How long is the course?

The on-demand introductory course has approximately 1 hour of terminology to study and 4-hours of recorded material to watch. You may take as long as you desire to repeat segments.

Can I go at my own pace?

Yes. This is the beauty of a web-based platform. You have the option to view videos as many times as you want. You can even speed them up or slow them down.

 Do I need to have an ultrasound system?

No, you do not need an US system for this course. But if you have access to one, some have found it helpful to watch the videos on a laptop while they duplicate the image on their own system

Can more than one person view the course?

No, your account login is limited to the purchaser and may not be shared

Will I be able to ask questions during the course?

No, but there is a comment block following each video where you can ask questions. Your instructor will be notified of the new question/comment and answer when able.

How long do I have access to course materials?

By purchasing the course, you automatically have three-year access to all the course materials as well as any updates made to your particular course.
